INTERDISCIPLINARY SCHOLAR, DEPTH PRACTITIONER, EDUCATOR
Hello, I am Vanessa Harvey.
I have struggled with many difficulties in my life—poverty, abuse, trauma, and unsafe relationships—all of which forced a disconnection from my body, my instincts, and my intuition.
It was through my study of depth psychology, meditation, guided imagery, bodywork, and the symbolic imagery of tarot that I have found my way into seeing below the surface and making meaning of those difficult experiences. Now, as an inner work guide and educator, I offer these same tools to others who are seeking a more intuitive, guided, and meaningful life.
Foundationally, I have degrees in physics and astronomy, so my understanding of and relationship to the world and cosmos is important to me. I also have a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, so the inner world and Soul are also important to me. To build on this foundation, I became a Certified Imagery Guide through the Academy for Guided Imagery and a Certified Tarotpy® Practitioner with Lauren Z. Schneider, MFT, both of which I bring to my work as a companion to your inner journey.
